Alex White, 32

Alex White, 32, died Monday, August 15, 2022, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hospital in Little Rock.  Alex was a native of Monticello and a lifelong resident of the Prairie Grove Community in Drew County.  She was a 2008 graduate of Drew Central High School, a 2013 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and in 2017 she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy.  She was a member of the Fountain Hill United Methodist Church. Alex enjoyed many outdoor activities, traveling, hunting, listening to music, playing on the river with her family and friends, and spoiling her dog, Annie. Alex was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend; she will be missed by the many people who knew her.

She is preceded in death by an infant son, Bennett; her maternal grandfather, John H. “Possum” Hudson, and her paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Ima White.

She is survived by her fiancé, Sam King of Selma; her mother, Rhonda Hudson; her father, Greg White; a sister, Delani White; her maternal grandmother, Joyce Rush (Jim), all of Hamburg; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Celebration of Life Visitation was held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2022, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel.  Arrangements are under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg. Online guestbook, www.jones-hartshorn.com
