Bennie Jean Causey Tucker, 94, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, May 29. She was born May 19, 1929, in the community of Goose Hollow, near Lacey, in Drew County, to the late Malvin and Lois Fox Causey. She was a devoted mother and wife.

Bennie retired from Dura-Craft Boat Company after many years of service. She loved to hunt and fish for everything, but crappie fishing was her passion. Over her lifetime, she had many passions, some were candle making, pottery, raising little birds, collecting bottles, and whatever else sparked her interest. In her crafts, she created beautiful things. In her cooking, she made her family and friends full and blessed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Malcom (Jack) and Macon Causey; two sisters, Margaret Catherine Causey Knowles and Lavern Burberry; one daughter, Judy Caroll Dulin; one son, Robert Glenn Craig; one granddaughter, Janelle Vance Baird; and husband, Walter L. Tucker.
Bennie's survivors include, but are not limited to, two sons, James Bryant Craig (Pauline) of London, Ky. and Dennis Knox Craig of Monticello; grandchildren, Vanessa Johnson (Dave) of Monticello, Tisa Kennedy (Sam) of Arp, Texas, Seth Dulin of Eureka Springs, Brock Craig of Pa., Johnnie Glenn (Lana), and Shannon Vance of Comminto, Steven Young Craig (Beth) of Monticello, Anna Marie Craig of Monticello; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Booker (Keith), Sariya Cheyenne Lane (Micah), Emiley Ann Price (Josh), Erin Hope Ashby (Hootie), Alex Boland, Taylor Catherine Kennedy, Justin Craig, Jewells Craig, Tara Baird, and Eric Baird; and step- grandchildren, Lane, Ashley, Bridget, Adam, and Selena; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
