The Monticello Billies returned to Hyatt Field on Friday night coming off their second 8-4A Conference loss of the season the previous week to the team at the top of the conference,  the Stuttgart Ricebirds.

The Billies would host the Watson Chapel Wildcats who would come to Hyatt Field looking for their first win of the season.

Watson Chapel would win the coin toss and elected to receive the football to begin the contest.

Jude Parke would kick the ball away for the Billies to begin the contest with the Wildcats beginning their drive at their own 20 after a 10-yard return.

Jakilynn Battles would get the first two carries of the contest for the Wildcats for a four-yard gain followed by a 26-yard run to the 50.

A five-yard penalty would move the ball back to the Wildcat 42, but a run by Bowman would move the ball back to the 37.

Harvey’s next pass would fall incomplete but the Billies would get on the board on the next carry by Accelus for a 37-yard touchdown.
