Bobbie Lynn Wilson Bashaw, 89

Bobbie Lynn Wilson Bashaw, 89, of Monticello, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Bowman Road Hospice in Little Rock. She was born October 23, 1934, in Monticello to the late Clyde Earnest Wilson and Erva Belle (Carey) Wilson Grant.

She was the widow of Glen Ray Bashaw, a housewife and member of the First Assembly of God Church of Monticello which she dearly loved. Mrs. Bobbie loved to read, sing, work puzzles, and grow beautiful flowers but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. She and her husband Glen enjoyed traveling and traveled to all 50 states. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Kelly Ray Bashaw; two siblings, Tracey Juan Wilson and Almedia Ivy; and her step-father, T.E. "Buck" Grant.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Glen Bashaw of Cherokee Village and Royce Wayne Bashaw (Lynn) of Ft. Smith; one daughter, Leasa Carol Bashaw of Monticello; five grandchildren, Jason Bashaw (Sarah), Ashley Courson, Amber White (Harper), Trevor Bashaw and Olivia Bashaw; six great-grandchildren, Casper, Piper, Rosalynn Jade, Hunter, Harley, and Paxton.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2024, at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mike Glover officiating. There was a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Graveside services were at 2 p.m.Saturday, January 13, 2024, in Langley Hall Cemetery near Glenwood, AR.
