Brenda Carol Young, 69, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born January 5, 1954, in Dermott to James Higgins and Retta Kellum Higgins.
She was a retired hairdresser and member of the Green Hill Community Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Liz King; two brothers, Steve and Jimmy Higgins; four children, Rachel Holland of Huntsville, Ala., Angelique Scott of Bristol, Va., Christy Anderson of Forney, Texas, and Ryan Young; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
