Brockman “Brock” Wilson Bolen, 2

Posted

Brockman “Brock” Wilson Bolen, born September 15, 2022, left this world surrounded by his parents and grandparents on January 18, 2025 at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.

Brock had a short two years on this earth but touched so many lives in that time.

He spent most of his days at the baseball field, floating in the swimming pool, checking cows with Papa and trying to do everything his big brother did, and always being the quality control in the kitchen with Gabi.

Brock was the sweetest little soul that never failed to make you laugh. His brother and sister hung the moon in his eyes. He was a spitting image of his daddy, through and through. He spent every day of his life in his momma and Gabi’s arms, giving the best kisses.

Preceding Brock in death is his paternal great-grandfather, David Jackson, paternal great-grandmother, Peggy “Diane” Bolen, two maternal great-grandmothers, Glenda Brockman and Karen Almoney, and two uncles, Cody Lane Brockman and Charles Richard Bolen, Jr.

Survivors include his parents, Coty and Tayler Bolen; brother, Lane Bolen; sister, Aubrie Bolen; grandparents, Doug Brockman (Sudie), Stephanie Jackson, and Charles Bolen (Pam); great-grandparents, Ricky Russell, Kenneth Brockman, Rita Jackson, Ricky Bolen (Brenda); an aunt, Courtney Yuratich (Josh); a cousin, Laken Yuratich; a host of aunts and uncles; and a special best friend, Roen Rupe.

We would like to acknowledge and give a special thanks to Arkansas Children’s Hospital-HEMOC and Arkansas Hospice. We would also like to give a very special thank you to Dr. James Atkins of Monticello for always going above and beyond for our Brockman and treating him as if he was his own.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. at Star City First Assembly of God Church. Funeral services are Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Star City First Assembly of God Church with Justin Holt and Philip Gardner officiating.
