The staff of the Advance Monticellonian welcomes Rhett Dean as the newspaper’s new Publisher.
A Camden native, Dean has lived in South Arkansas his entire life and comes to the newspaper after spending the past six years working in the insurance industry.
Dean is the father of two sons, Jett, 9, and Jax, 8, and said much of his time outside of work is spent with them. He also has a dog named Twila. When he has free time, Dean enjoys golfing and watching Arkansas Razorback football.
Dean said he is excited to join the team at the Advance Monticellonian and looks forward to becoming part of the community.
As he settles into his new role, Dean said he looks forward to getting involved locally and building relationships with the people, businesses, and organizations that make up Monticello and Drew County.
Dean encourages members of the community to stop by the Advance Monticellonian office, introduce themselves, and say hello.
