The week of August 28 was designated Community Health Worker Awareness Week. Monticello Mayor Jason Akers issued a proclamation celebrating the weeks honorees and the efforts of Community based healthcare workers in Drew County to serve and provide the most vulnerable in our society with quality care and attention.
