On Tuesday, November 19, the Sadie Johnson Community Center played host to the Monticello Outdoor Recreation Regional Listening Session. The purpose of the session was to focus on outdoor recreation in the area, specifically infrastructure grants and planning assistance to help with expansion and growth opportunities. The session was also set up to listen to community members and those in the outdoor industry about what needs they may have, any gaps that currently exist, or any other areas that the Arkansas Office of Outdoor Recreation can assist with.
