Greenhill Cemetery to partner with Wreaths Across America

Last year Pam Berryman Beard was proud to purchase a wreath for her father-in-law, Albert Beard, for the Oakland Cemetery, but she wanted her Dad, Grover Berryman, who is buried in the Green Hill Cemetery, to have a wreath as well.

Pam reached out to Wreaths Across America this year and started a campaign for the Green Hill Cemetery. Greenhill Cemetery has 105 veterans who are interred . She reached out to Sissy Cross to help in this project and they, with the help of so many willing to give, raised enough money to place a wreath on each of the 105 veterans' graves.

There will be a program December 14, at 10 a.m., followed by placing wreaths on all veterans’ graves. Everyone is invited to come out to celebrate past and present veterans. Steve Berryman, 96, a veteran for WW2, Pam's dad's brother,  will be present for the event.
