On December 4, the inaugural Holiday Tree Farm was held at Arkansas Children's Hospital. The event was sponsored by the Drew County Log a Load for Kids. Throughout the year the chapter, led by Lora Long, raised money to purchase 300 Christmas trees and ornaments. Each child at the hospital was given a tree along with decorations of his or her choice. The Child Life and Education Specialist and Britini Harris of the foundation assisted with the event.
