Issac Jackson named to Second Team All-Conference honors in first season

The Great American Conference announced their All-Conference teams and the top Scholar Athletes on Wednesday, March 1,.

University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Issac Jackson earned Second Team All-Conference honors from the GAC.

Jackson, a sophomore guard, transferred from Panola College in Carthage, Texas to join the Weevils for the 2022-23 season.

Jackson played two seasons for Panola, exiting the program having scored 589 career points for the Ponies. 

In his first season at UAM, Jackson would lead the Weevils in overall scoring with 413 points, free throws with 66, rebounding with 138, and field goals with 153.

Jackson would average 14.8 points per game. 

Jackson was fourth in the conference in three point percentage with a .449 average connecting on 41 of 92 attempts and was eighth in the conference in total minutes with 913 minutes played averaging 32.6 minutes per game for the Weevils.
