On Tuesday, April 22, 2025 Sheriff Nichols, UAM Captain Pickens and Miss Arkansas Camille Cathey spoke to the entire Monticello High School Senior female class about safety and life after high school. During this conversation they discussed being aware of your surroundings, social media postings, sexual assaults and many other topics related to personal safety.
Thank you to Mrs. Mitchell of MHS and the young ladies who lined this presentation up. As we explained to each of them, the goal is to see them succeed and be safe while making a life for themselves. They have overcome many life challenges in some way or another and we cannot wait to see what they accomplish.
