Lawrence Mancy Daniel, 71, of Wilmar, passed away Thursday, March 5, at Baptist Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born June 2, 1954, in Warren, to the late Fred Lawrence Daniel and Alice Lorraine Montgomery Daniel.
He was a retired carpenter and member of Wilmar Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Don Daniel, and a granddaughter, Catherine Ann Fakouri.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Alice Daniel of Wilmar; his two children, James Benjamin Daniel (Beth) of Conway and Maggie Ann Fakouri (John) of Sheridan; one sister, Aggie Grant of Wilmar; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Wilmar Baptist Church in Wilmar.
