After 10 years, the Miracle League held its first night game this week. The field finally received lighting this year and can now hold games at night.
“This lighting was funded by the One Cent Sales tax, and we want the public to see that that the tax is being used for what it’s supposed to, which is to make Monticello a better place for everyone,” Mayor Jason Akers said.
