Since 1993, Drew County has participated in an annual fundraiser for Log-A-Load. This organization, founded in 1988, benefits hospitals that are a part of the Children’s Miracle Network. Arkansas Children’s Hospital is a part of the Miracle Network.
Drew County has consistently been a top donor to the cause. Loggers, foresters and anyone that works in the timber industry gathers for a meal and live and silent auction and to hear a story from a local child that has been impacted by Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
