Malco Movie Theaters has had renovations done to the exterior of their theater, with interior renovations planned for the future. The work is being contracted by Bailey Construction.
One of the most notable renovations they have done is to the outdoor ticket booth. The outdoor ticket booth is now closed in and is a display for movie posters. Movie goers will now have to buy their tickets indoors.
Along with redoing the ticket booth, the rest of the outdoor walls are getting siding work done and being repainted. The theater is being repainted to a bright new red and white.
A renovation that hasn't been finished yet is their work on the hollywood sign. The hollywood sign has been taken down to be sanded, painted, and have the lighting fixed.
Malco also plans to eventually have the flooring redone indoors but hasn't yet started on that. Malco theater is showing movies currently.
