Monticello Economic Development Commission proudly introduces Delta Data Services to our community.

“It has been a pleasure working with Delta Data Services to locate their facility in Monticello, said Nita McDaniel, Director of the MEDC. “The investment and job creation they bring is a tremendous win for all of us. From the beginning, the company has exhibited a focus on developing a facility which will blend into the landscape of our community in a positive way.  The jobs created will add to the talent pool of our workforce and further diversify our industry base.  We welcome Delta Data Services to Monticello and we will continue to work with them as they grow.”

Delta Data Services released the following statement:

At Delta Data Services, we believe in supporting the local economy. Our Monticello investment is approximately $685,000.  We take immense pride in entrusting our projects to the skilled hands of local Arkansas engineers, electricians, linemen, and contractors, thus keeping the investment within our invested community. Our operations require a local staff of 3 to 4 full-time employees, thereby providing continuous employment opportunities with benefits and growth potential for our community.

As an American owned leading provider of computational load balancing services, Delta Data Services is committed to playing its part in the transition towards renewable power production. Operating from Monticello, Arkansas, we balance grid power during off-peak hours and carefully shut down during periods of peak consumption. This approach boosts the resiliency of the energy grid and has the potential to stabilize or even lower energy costs across our community.

With high-performance computational tasks; blockchain production, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or rendering, come a set of unique challenges. Noise pollution being the primary significant concern. Our seasoned design team, which boasts over a decade of experience in the industry, is dedicated to mitigating noise pollution. We have placed sound and community impact as our topmost priority, and our experience has taught us how to all but eliminate these challenges.

By selecting Artemis Technologies' data center products, we use the quietest equipment available on the market. These systems, designed and manufactured in the USA, employ a positive pressure method to contain all mechanical components and fans internally, significantly reducing sound.

To further minimize noise impact, our team has engineered an acoustic containment fence. We have set a target goal of no more than 65 dBs at 30 yards from the site - similar to the hum of mechanical equipment at a grocery store - to ensure that our operations blend seamlessly into the community's soundscape.

Delta Data Services is proud to introduce our facility to Monticello and Drew County, Arkansas.
