Michael Lynn ''Mike'' Hogue, 65, of Monticello, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his home. He was born April 30, 1959, in Memphis, Tenn. to Donald and Norma Jean Clay Hogue.
He was a retired sales accountant with Coca-Cola Bottling and member of Rose Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mike was a simple person who loved going to football games, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, cooking and being outside.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jesse Hogue; and his grandparents, Lyndle and Stella Hogue.
Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marilyn Joyce Hayes Hogue of Monticello; two sons, Jason Dewayne Hogue (Hannah) of Clarksville and Blake Edward Hogue (Katlin) of Monticello; his mother and father, Norma and Donald Hogue of Monticello; two brothers, James Donald Hogue (Malynda) and Billy Hogue (Heidi) all of Monticello; one grandchild, Stella Hogue; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Qualls and Rev. Tim McDaniel officiating. There was a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial was in Campground Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers are Chuck Dearman, Loyd Oxner, K.C. Gage, Billy Hogue, James Hogue and Ryan Hogue. Serving as honorary pallbearers are James Stout and Danny Forrest.
