Congratulation to MMS, MJHS and MHS 2024 Region 3 All-Region Choir Students.
Fifteen Monticello choir students participated in the 2024 ArkCDA Region 3 Jr. and Sr. all-region choir auditions at Bryant Jr. High School. They did a superb job in their performance and as representatives of Billie Nation.
MHS: Sophie Barrilleaux earned 2nd chair out of 124 soprano 2's. This qualifies her for State. Shakira Walton, 25th alto 2, also qualifies for State. Eddy Grace Birch, 33rd soprano 2, Kaylee Horton, 43rd made the all-region SSAA choir, and Alexa McCullough 60, alternate.
MJHS: Emma Ellis - 28th chair - Soprano 2
MMS: Cate Akin, 6th chair alto, Caroline Barton, 16th alto, Aleia Ashford, 21st soprano 1, Hadasa Aguilar, 24th, Jayleigh Daniels, 36th, Nia Bealer, 37th soprano 2, and Rebecca Augilar, 41st - 1st alternate
The Jr. High all-region concert will be held at the First Baptist Church in Benton, on Friday, November 8, at 4:30 p.m.
The Sr. High all-region concert will be held on Saturday, November 9, also at the First Baptist Church in Benton @ 4:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
