On Wednesday, April 12, Drew County Judge Jessie Griffin and Monticello Mayor Jason Akers, accompanied by Nancy Miller, signed proclamations for the National Day of Prayer. The National Day of Prayer service is observed on the first Thursday in May. This year’s service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, on the front lawn of the Drew Co. Courthouse.
