Opal Jeanette Martin Lansdale, 87, of Lacey, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, November 23, 2023, at her home. She was born January 4, 1936, in Drew County to the late Jessie Noel Martin and Floy Daugherty Martin.
She was the widow of Tracy Lansdale, a homemaker and long-time member of Lacey Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Jeanette loved mowing her yard and tending to her flowers and garden but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Ricky and Blake Lansdale; a daughter, Brenda Stanfill; and two granddaughters, Mendy and Brittney.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Bolin (Stephen) of Hot Springs and Brooke Lansdale of Lacey; a brother, Jessie Martin (Janice) of Lacey; nine grandchildren, Lacy Nowlen (Jake), Jason West (Brittany), Brian Stanfill, Colby Goudy, Bart Measel, Fara Lansdale, Justin Goudy (Whitney), Scott Lansdale and Shyanne Lansdale; a special nephew, Kevin Martin (Trenia); a special niece, Sue Estelle (Robert); along with numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Terry Newman and Rev. Devin Burns officiating. Burial will be in Lacey Cemetery. There was a visitation from 1-2 p.m. preceding the funeral service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lacey Assembly of God Church.
