I, Michael Owens, am announcing my candidacy for the Republican nomination for Drew County Judge. I believe the citizens of Drew County are wanting a different approach to the administration of the county.
I bring over 25 years of experience in developing and administering multi-million dollar operational and capital project budgets, employee and contractor management in both small business and corporate environments. Additionally, having worked in higher education, I understand the unique constraints of working within the confines of government contracts and purchasing requirements. I bring a servant mindset where working collaboratively with the quorum court, county and city elected officials and ARDOT are essential to developing and prioritizing the best possible solutions for the citizens and businesses of Drew County.
My family has deep ties to this community and I want to see it grow and thrive. I truly believe that my years of business management experience, open-mindedness to ideas, and love for the area uniquely qualifies me as the best candidate for Drew County Judge.
