Preston Ray Sandlin, 69, of Jerome, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was born October 16, 1955, in Dumas to the late Robert Lee Sandlin and Dorothy Lee McMillan Sandlin.
He was a retired farmer and an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Colin and Blake Sandlin; and a brother, Robert Lynn Sandlin.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy Barnett Sandlin of Jerome; a step daughter, Denise Jones (Jamie) of Russellville; one son, Steven Sandlin of Montrose; one daughter, Kriston (James) of Ozark; siblings, Linda Thomas of Star City, Mike Sandlin (Debra) of Dumas, Larry Sandlin (Glenda) of Bon Aqua, Tenn. and Doug Sandlin (Judy) of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Robinson, Brooklynn Sandlin, Dakota Sandlin, Zachary Sandlin, Kimberly Hill; and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Walnut Lake Cemetery. There was a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
