As the high school football season has come to an end, the six “celebrity pickers” from the Advance’s Professor Pigskin contest got together on Thursday, December 12, to present checks to the local non-profit organizations they chose at the beginning of the contest. Non-profits pictured are Options, Inc. and the Drew County NAACP Youth Council 67AJ-B. Non-profits not pictured were The CALL, Feed the Kids, Hope Place, and The Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home. Thank you to our “celebrity pickers” for participating and doing something to make a difference and give back to our community.
