Arkansas House Speaker Brian S. Evans has announced the appointment of Rep. Mike Holcomb (District 93) as chair of the House Public Transportation Committee. This marks Rep. Holcomb’s fourth consecutive term leading the committee, underscoring his expertise and leadership in overseeing critical infrastructure and transportation matters.
The House Public Transportation Committee is responsible for reviewing legislation related to roads, highways, city streets, county roads, highway safety, airports, air transportation, and mass transit.
Rep. Holcomb is currently serving his seventh term in the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing District 93, which encompasses portions of Jefferson, Cleveland, Lincoln, and Drew Counties.
In addition to chairing the Public Transportation Committee, Rep. Holcomb also serves on the House City, County, and Local Affairs Committee and the Joint Budget Committee for the 95th General Assembly.
