Rhonda Faye Brantley Sanderlin, 64, of Monticello, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born January 3, 1959, in Monticello, to the late Russel Lamar Brantley and Carolyn Francis Masters.
Rhonda was a History and Social Studies teacher with the Drew Central School District for 26 years and was also the Director of Drew Central's 21st Century After School Program. She was of the Baptist faith.
Her passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren said that they could not have asked for a better mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, John Sanderlin of Monticello; a son, Bo Sanderlin (Tara); a daughter, Kathryn Hunt; son-in-law, Chris Burnett; her father, Michael Masters; granddaughters, Abrey Hunt, McKenzie Long and Mia Jo Sanderlin; and grandsons, Zade Sanderlin and Nicholas Hunt, Jr. (Bubba).
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Union Ridge Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the cemetery one hour preceding the graveside service from 1-2 p.m. You can sign Rhonda's guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
