Roger Dale ''Humpy'' Pace, 80, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Baptist Health Drew County. He was born April 14, 1944, in Green Hill to the late Rastus Pace and Jewel Ellis Pace.
He was a lifelong produce farmer who was well known for growing quality produce. Humpy never met a stranger and would help anyone in need at any time. His special love was his family, especially his grandchildren. They held a special place in his heart and he was always happiest when they were with him. He was a Free Will Baptist and longtime officer of the Drew County Tomato Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Beard; and a brother, J.R. Pace.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jackie Beaty Pace of Monticello; a son, Kenny Pace (Debbie) of Monticello; two grandchildren, Bryan Pace (Rachel) of Maumelle and Julie Pace of Monticello; two brothers, Paul Pace (Donna) and Shannon Pace both of Monticello; two sisters, Becky Roberts (Merchel) and Pam Blann (Tony) all of Crossett; a sister-in-law, Betty Pace of Monticello; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Roper officiating. There was a visitation Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were Ricky Cater, Bryan Pace, Merchel Roberts, Tony Blann, Jim Adcock and Jason Meier. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Albert Beaty, Scott Pace, Keith Pace, Stan Pace, Jeff Pace, Paul Pace, Jr., Bo Roberts and Lance Blann.
