A teacher for 36 years, Ross dedicated his career to educating, mentoring and fostering values for students. Ross was a devoted Christian and a member of the New Albany Presbyterian Church. He was a loving husband, and a kind and gentle friend to all that knew him. Ross was very proud to teach the art of fishing to his family and especially, his grandkids who grew up fishing with him.
Ross was an avid sports enthusiast, a coach for many years, and an Arkansas Razorbacks mega-fan, even flying his Razorbacks flag in Columbus, Ohio, having moved here as promised after he retired, to be close to his grandkids.
He was loved dearly and will be missed greatly by family and friends for his great humor, his very generous gifts of his time, and willingness to help anyone. He never knew a stranger and was quick to entertain you with his many amazing stories.
