Susan ''Susie'' Snow, 63, of McGehee, passed Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at The Woods Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. She was born March 9, 1961, to the Late Dorothy and Franklin Dee Boothe. Susie loved to fish anywhere and everywhere she could find a good spot. Her grandkids were her world, and she loved those babies more than anything in the world.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Keith Allen Carpenter; one sister, Janet Pamplin; two brothers, Charlie Boothe and Billy Boothe; one step-son Darren Ray Snow; two sisters-in-law, Melba Birch and Becky Herring; and one brother-in-law, Michael Snow.
Susie is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, David Snow of McGehee; her daughter, Melisa Westmoreland (Adam); three brothers, Rodney Boothe (Marianna), Dee Dee Boothe (Michelle), and Ricky Boothe all of Desha County; six sisters, Linda Lewis d (David), Connie Boothe, Mary Hodges, Dorothy May Boothe, Patricia Kyzer (John), and Lisa Carpenter; two grandsons, Jacob Westmoreland and Keith Westmoreland; step-children, Colby Snow, Brittany Snow, and Dustin Snow; sisters-in-law, Patty Curtis (Frankie), Norma King, and Janice Ferguson (John); brothers-in-law, Rodney Snow and Steve Snow (Christine); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 2 p.m. at McArthur Baptist Church at McArthur in Desha County. Burial will be in McArthur Cemetery.
