Sylvia Jane Pace Farrar, 86, of Monticello, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, June 13, 2025, at her home. She was born September 24, 1938, in Drew County to the late Woodrow Wilson Pace and Blanche Piper Pace.
She was a retired employee of Commercial Bank of Monticello and member of First United Methodist Church. Sylvia was an excellent cook and a former member of the Monticello Optimist Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Pace and Carl Pace; a daughter, Linda Lewis; and a son, Larry Farrar.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Delbert Farrar of Monticello; daughter, Dayna Nichols (Danny) of Monticello; son-in-law, Paul Lewis, Jr. of Maumelle; three grandsons, Allen Lewis (Melissa) of Panama City, Fla., Doug Lewis (Shelley) of Little Rock and Paul Lewis, III (Ashley) of Irving, Texas; and four great grandchildren, Nate, Will and Penny Lewis all of Panama City, Fla. and Oliver Lewis of Little Rock.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There was a visitation Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery.
