Thomas Lester Landers, 43, of Pineville, La., formerly of Arkansas City, passed away Friday, October 3, 2024, at Colwell Health in Pineville, La. He was born September 10, 1981, in Pine Bluff to the late Benjamin Grady Landers, Sr. and Martha Ann Walding Landers.
Tommy was such a sweet soul. He prided himself in raising show dogs and training his black lab for field trials where they won many awards. He loved eating good food and watching football where his favorite teams included the Arkansas Razorbacks, LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and Kansas City Chiefs.

All that knew him knew that Tommy's favorite colors were red and black. He found great pleasure in riding shotgun and would always ''call shotgun'' before a car ride. Tommy was also a volunteer fire fighter and an honorary sheriff's deputy. He loved his cell phone and never went anywhere without it and most importantly, Tommy was a child of God and a true light to others.
In addition to his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin Grady Landers, Jr.

Survivors include his aunts and uncles, Betty Hebert, Nancy Fontana (Louis), Jay Bringol and Larry Bringol; a special cousin, Lyn Pomes; along with numerous other cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024, at Oakland Cemetery in Warren.
