Trilby Jean O’Briant Collins, 77 of Star City, passed away July 8, 2022, in Star City. She was born in the Garrett Bridge Community, Arkansas August 26, 1944, to the late Victor and Virginia Estelle Carr O’Briant, the widow of F.H. Collins, Trilby was a member of Anderson Chapel Baptist Church in Dumas. She was a retired Receiving Supervisor for Dollar General Stores for 20 years. Trilby loved to read and trail riding on Horseback as her pass times.
Trilby is survived by three sons, Daniel Shockley, San Diego, Fay (Krista) Collins, Winter Springs, Florida, and Garrick (Juliet) Collins, Maple City, Michigan, one daughter Trilby Crockett, Warren, one brother Rickey (C.C.) O’Briant, Monticello, four sisters Charlotte (William) Roberson, Dumas, Jeannie (Tracy) Riley, Dumas, Kathy O’Briant, Monticello, and Darcy (Alan) Melder, Monticello.
She is also survived by Seven Grandchildren: Thadeous and Chandler Crockett, Hannah, Grace and Garrick Collins and Alexandra and Gavin Shockley and two great grandchildren Waylen and Blaire Crockett.
Trilby was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, their daughter Dana Shockley, and a special friend Charles Chambers.
Visitation was Monday July 11, 2022, with Graveside services and burial at Tyro Cemetery July 12, 2022 in Tyro. The service was officiated by Rev. Arlon Bean under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, grandchildren served as pallbearers. The guest book may be signed at www.Griffinfh.com.
