Vicki Lynn Morphis Edwards, 64

Vicki Lynn Morphis Edwards, 64, of Plainview, formerly of Lake Village, passed away November 30, 2025, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock. She was born on January 18, 1961, in Lake Village to the late James Wendell Morphis and Barbara Ann Coulter Morphis.
She was a homemaker and also worked as a factory worker and a Chicot Memorial Hospital employee. Vicki attended the Free Will Baptist Church before becoming a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Plainview. She loved her flowers, thrifting and doing arts and crafts. Vicki also had a passion for helping others and spending quality time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Edwards; and a brother, Damon Wade Morphis.
Survivors include her husband, John Edwards of Plainview; one daughter, Wendi Ann Edwards of Plainview; one son, Jerry Wendell J. Edwards of Jacksonville; two brothers, Wayne Morphis and Kevin Morphis both of Monticello; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at noon Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Bayou Mason Baptist Church in Lake Village with Rev. Ronnie Garrett and Rev. Justin Morphis officiating. There was a visitation one hour preceding the funeral service at the church. Burial followed in Bayou Mason Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Wesley Morphis, Isaiah Morphis, Christian Morphis, Dakota McNichols, Michael McDonald and Colton Etheridge
