William Marrion Sanson,  89, of Monticello, passed away Friday, February 13, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born June 3, 1936, in Monticello, to the late Preston and Thelma Sanson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Danny Sanson; his wife, Annette ''Bug'' Sanson; and his daughter-in-law, Rebecca Sanson.

Bill was a man who enjoyed laughter, being a little obstinate and adventurous. He worked hard but loved harder. Bill was a retired Tech Sargent in the United States Air Force and a Deputy Sheriff for the Drew County Sheriff's Department. He loved motorcycles and going on weeklong trips with his son Greg over the last sixteen years. He had a love for the Doberman breed, with Girl being his ever-faithful companion even still.
Bill lived his life to the fullest and left such an incredible mark on all around him. We love and miss you already.
Visitation was Monday, February 16, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Graveside services with military honors were Tuesday, February 17,  at 11 a.m. in Union Ridge Cemetery in Monticello, Arkansas. You can sign Bill's guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
