Wilma Jo Caldwell, known as Mimi to her family, received her Heavenly promotion Thursday, August 1, 2024. She was born November 2, 1945, in Dyer, Tenn. to W.H. and Marie Prater Vinsett.
She was a 1964 graduate of Little Rock Central High School. Wilma was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and served alongside her husband Kenneth as pastors for 54 years. She was a Godly woman, who was known by all as a powerful woman of prayer. She loved playing the piano, writing songs about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and going to church to worship. She is preceded in death by her father, W.H. Vinsett and mother, Marie Vinsett.
She is survived by her husband Ken Caldwell, three sons: Keith Caldwell (Becky), Kevin Caldwell (Paige), and Scott Caldwell (Christina). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren Lauren Crutchfield, Kati Beth Wood (Michael), Bradley Caldwell (Kylee), Christian Caldwell (Kat), Jaxson Caldwell (Kaley), Gabe Caldwell, Mason Caldwell, Jocelyn Caldwell, Priscilla Caldwell, Alex Griffin, Hank Griffin (Marie Claire), and Pippa Caldwell. Also 11 great-grandkids, Will Crutchfield, Harper Crutchfield, Issac Wood, Jonah Wood, Hannah Wood, Nora Wood, Lucas Wood, Lennon Caldwell, Tatum Caldwell, Colsen Caldwell, and soon to be born, Caiyah Elisabeth Caldwell.
Wilma's celebration of life was held Monday, August 5, at 1 p.m. at Pauline Baptist Church in Monticello with visitation being held at noon at Pauline as well.
