The Monticello/Drew County Chamber Of Commerce, Master Gardeners, and the Daughters of the American Revolution hosted a porch and yard decorating contest to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
After much deliberation, the winners have been announced. The winner of the “Patriot Creativity” category was Nelwyn Birch. Tyler and Beth Staten won the “Red, White and WOW!” category, and the winner of the “Spirit of ’76” category was Greg, Amy, and Carolyn Adams.
Congratulations to all of the winners, and thank you for showing your patriotic spirit.
