Baptist Health-Drew County RN honored with DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses

Baptist Health Medical Center - Drew County is proud to announce the recipient of the prestigious DAISY Award® for this quarter is Beth Perkins, BSN, RN.

“This nurse is always efficient, knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. She explains the procedures, and this last time she recognized a medication prescribed to my husband as one that might be causing his jerking,” read Perkins’ nomination letter.

“I am very proud of Beth for receiving such an amazing award. She is always very attentive to her patients and provides the absolute best care to each person who walks through the doors of the Emergency Department. She is a tremendous asset to our team,“ said Jodie Efird, Chief Nursing Officer at BHMC - Drew County.

The Daisy Award recognizes exceptional nurses for the care that they provide to their patients. BHMC- Drew County honors one nurse each quarter with the award. Each recipient receives a banner, certificate, Daisy Award pin and hand-carved “A Healer’s Touch” stone sculpture, along with other opportunities to further their education.
