Bobby Eugene McDaniel, 79, of Monticello, passed away Friday, March 15, at St. Vincent CHI Hospital in Little Rock. He was born December 18, 1944, in Boydell, to the late Jack McDaniel and Eathel Harmon McDaniel.

He was a retired Drew County Road Foreman and a Baptist. Bobby enjoyed working in his shop, gardening, fishing, watching Monday night wrestling and western movies but his greatest love was deer hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Loraine Cater McDaniel; a brother, Johnny Frank McDaniel; and a great-grandchild, Dylan Case Dannehl.

Bobby is survived by his children, Lisa Renee Rogers (Brett) of Searcy and Angela Theriot (Tyson) of Monticello; siblings, Earlene Winters (James), Mildred Hart, Shirley Harvey (Leon) and Billy McDaniel (Melinda) of Monticello, Velma Sebourne (Danny) of Jerusalem and Karen Cater (Ronny) of Monticello; grandchildren, Dale Curtis (Amanda), Dustin Curtis, Ashley Phillips (Randy), Austin Lawson, Katie Wedige (Dalton); great-grandchildren, Colton and Cayden Curtis, Hadley Curtis, John Andrew Kizer, Whitlee Blake Lawson, Silas and Harlyn Wedige; and thirteen step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. There was a visitation Sunday evening from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
