Eddie Allen, 90, of Monticello, passed away October 8, 2023, at his home. He was born January 7, 1933, in Coushatta, La. Mr. Eddie worked for the San Francisco Public Works until his retirement.
He is survived by his his wife, Edna Allen of Monticello; stepson, Travis Jackson of Monticello; daughter, Barbara Allen of San Francisco, Calif.; sister, Jackie Jones of San Francisco, Calif.; aunt, Cesrea Allen of Coushatta, La.; two grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. There will be a wake Friday evening at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery.
