Lady Pirates shutout Dollarway 30-0

The Drew Central Lady Pirates picked up their third win of the season on Friday, April 14, traveling to Dollarway in a 30-0 shutout win.

Mallory Jackson would begin in the circle pitching one inning striking out one.

Bailey Chapman would come in to pitch for two innings also striking out one batter in a combined no-hitter for the Lady Pirates. 

The Lady Pirates would get 15 runs in the first inning, 11 runs in the second, and four runs in the top of third in the run-rule shortened contest.

Amari Lucas led the Lady Pirates at the plate going 3 for 3 with two walks, four runs, and five RBI with a home run. 

Ali Jo Cruce was 3 for 5 with four runs and four RBI. 

The Lady Pirates will return home on Friday. April 21, to host McGehee at 4:30 pm and will play at home on Tuesday against Lakeside in a double-header beginning at 4:30.
