On Thursday, March 28, Monticello Mayor Jason Akers spoke at the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Social Work Fair. He addressed the professionals who already work in the field, as well as the students who are getting ready to graduate. Mayor Akers also signed a proclamation declaring the month of March to be Social Work Month for the city of Monticello.
