Options domestic violence shelter serves 7 counties. Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha, Drew, Lincoln, and Union. They serve victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, teen dating violence, stalking, and being homeless. They can house 27 people in our shelter, located in Monticello! On average, it takes seven times to leave your abuser.

Project Healing Hearts started with a group of ladies gifting Valentines to everyone in the shelter. And with the outpouring of generosity, it turned into a Valentine's lunch provided by Exquisite Inspirations Catering, strawberry cake from Z-Chef, and banana nut bread loafs from Loafer’s. Gift baskets were provided by Amanda Killingsworth , Gay Pace, Tracy Daniel, Gay Pace, Jaime Harvey, Whitney Gill, and JA of Monticello.

Paint night at Main Street Art followed by dinner at Bella Luna. Sponsored by Bella Luna, flowers by Town and Country florist, Amanda Killingsworth, Terry Ballard, Frank Scroggins, Scottie Haynes, Annette Taylor (Coffee Company), Stephanie Wright, Tracy Daniel, Diana Patrick, Loafer's, and Main Street Art.

Thank you Erika Barnett for always being so kind and helpful.

We received donations from Stacy Hale/ Delta Counseling, Scott’s Petroleum of Star City and Marion Woods. Those donations will go to replace the oven at the shelter that stopped working this week! (Perfect timing. Won't God do it?)

“Our mission with Healing Hearts is to continue to share our favorite parts of our mom, Monda Conner, with the world in her honor. To keep her light shining. To love on people and be their biggest cheerleader,“ project organizer Amanda Killingsworth stated.
