Former Monticello Postmaster Don Scogin (right) congratulates current Postmaster Danny McNeil (left) on his pending retirement August 31. Scogin was postmaster from 1992 until his retirement in 2008. McNeil first came to the Monticello office in 1994, then transferred to several locations around the state before returning to Monticello to be appointed as Postmaster in 2008, serving Monticellonians for over 15 years as Postmaster.
