Peggy June Robinson Trotter, 84, of Lexa, formerly of Monticello, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, at her home. She was born June 14, 1938, in Hardy to the late George Albert Robinson and Iva Lane Warren.
She was retired from the Garment Factory. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, gardening, canning the vegetables she grew and bream fishing.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ernest W. Trotter; and eleven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three children, Angela Ray (John Guszak) of Capistrano Beach, Calif., Ernest Steven Trotter (Debbie) of Poplar Grove, and Brett Trotter of Hope; grandchildren Avery and Caitlyn Ray; Steven and Jeffrey Trotter, Jessica Pipkin and Pamela Kellum; seven great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Campground Cemetery. There will be a visitation one hour before the funeral service at the funeral home. Please sign her guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com
