The Drew Central Lady Pirates got back in the win column after dropping an 82-79, two overtime contest at Camden Harmony Grove on January 23.
Returning home on January 24, the Pirates would host the DeWitt Dragons in another 8-3A Conference matchup.
DeWitt would score the first four points of the contest before the Pirates got on the board with a three pointer by Jeremiah Bodiford.
Drew Burton would lead the Pirates in scoring in the first quarter with seven points with the Pirates outscoring DeWitt 15-10 in the quarter.
Drew Central beat DeWitt by one point in the second quarter, taking the second by a score of 11-10 to hold a 26-20 lead at the half.
Zae Bullard would lead the Pirates in the third quarter with seven points to help the Pirates take the third quarter 19-15 to hold a 45-35 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, the Pirates would get six more points from Bullard to outscore the Dragons by seven points, 13-6, to take a 58-41 victory.
Drew Burton led the Pirates with 18 points followed by Zae Bullard with 15 points.
Jeremiah Bodiford added eight points, Alex Preddy with seven, Blake Chandler with six points, and Tre’Bennett Fuller with four points.
The Pirates would end the week with a win over Camden Harmony Grove, 66-62, on January 25.
