The team at the Advance Monticellonian is happy to announce the addition of Joanna Poole to the editorial staff. Poole will be handling the bulk of the work for the Eagle Democrat in Warren, and will be working at the Advance as a correspondent.
Poole is a native of Southeast Arkansas who has lived in Hermitage for the last 18 years. She will graduate from the University of Arkansas at Monticello this coming May with a degree in Creative Writing.
Poole and her husband Ben, have three children who live at home; Carter who is 18, Maci who is 16, and Huck who is 10. They also have son Tyler and his wife Haley who live in Emerson.
Poole and her family are members of New Life Assembly of God in Monticello, where she serves on the worship team.
“I love living in Bradley County, and I am looking forward to being involved in and getting to write about what happens here,” Poole stated. “I’m also excited to help out as needed in Monticello and Drew County.”
