Monticello Mayor Jason Akers joined members of the COL David Love Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, to read and present a Proclamation recognizing September 17-23 as Constitution Week in Monticello. He gave a presentation about the importance of recognizing this historic document and how it respirates just as strongly today as it did almost 250 years ago.
