Top mathematics students compete in Arkansas Council for Teachers of Mathematics' Southeast Arkansas Mathematics Contest

Top mathematics students from the region competed at the annual Arkansas Council for Teachers of Mathematics’ Southeast Arkansas Mathematics Contest hosted at the University of Arkansas at Monticello on February 24. Pictured on the steps of the Science Center are the first, second and third place winners in each category, divided by row.

First-place winners were (bottom row, from left) Anthony Mickolick of Drew Central (Algebra I), Chloe Armbrust of Monticello (Geometry), Kinsley Hobbs of Drew Central (Algebra II), Natalie Spadoni of White Hall (Trigonometry/Precalculus) and Cameron Teague of Monticello (Calculus).

Second-place winners were (second row, from left) Leilani Lopez of Drew Central (Algebra I), Lincoln Hood of White Hall (Geometry), Noelle McDonald of Drew Central (Algebra II) and Blake Wilson of Drew Central (Trigonometry/Precalculus).

Third-place winners were (third row, from left) Damien Harrison of Drew Central (Algebra I), Nora Rodriguez of Monticello (Geometry), Piper Forrest of Drew Central (Algebra II) and Yuki Lin of White Hall (Trigonometry/Precalculus).
