According to Drew County Sheriff Tim Nichols, a vehicle was recovered from Lake Wallace last week.
Members of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and Drew County Sheriff's Department responded to a call from a fisherman who picked up the image of the vehicle in the lake with their live scan equipment.
Once on the scene, law enforcement confirmed the image was a vehicle and Reggie’s Lock and Key and Towing were called to extract the vehicle.
At this time, the vehicle that was recovered was not reported as stolen and it is law enforcement agents estimation that the vehicle has been in the lake for several months.
An investigation is underway.
